#1 Troubleshooting - Microwave door will not close.

If the button to open the door does not open the door
properly, do not attempt to force the button or door to open.
Add the recommended silicone grease GC Electronics
White Lithium Grease (Manufacture P/N 19-2302) onto the
bottom of door hook chambers as shown below to ease
the door released keys.

#2 Troubleshooting - Burning smell, strange odor, smokes or fire
from the microwave oven

The following is a list of possible causes for fire, smoke or
a burning smell.
Check if any food particles are on the inside of the
microwave oven cavity or the door area. If there is please
make sure to properly clean the oven.
Check if any oils or liquids have spilled within the cavity. If
there is, again please make sure to properly clean the oven
including the glass tray as well as underneath the tray and
the roller ring.
If you have recently overcooked or burned food in the
microwave oven the smoke from the burned food may
remain in the oven for a period of time. To remove this type
of odor, combine 1 to 1 1/2 cups (250 to 375 ml) of water
with the juice and peel of one lemon in a 2 quart (1.9 l)
microwave safe bowl.
Set power to HIGH for 5 minutes and press "START". Once
the water finishes boiling, wipe the interior of the oven with
a cloth.
When the oven is new a strange odor may be emitted
during the first few usages. This is normal.

#3 Troubleshooting - The Microwave stops after a few seconds
during operation. Does not complete cooking

Unplug the Microwave and plug back in.
If there is no power at all check your circuit breaker.
Test the Microwave in a different, dedicated outlet.
Add the recommended silicone grease GC Electronics

bottom of door hook chambers as shown below to ease
the door released keys.

#4 Troubleshooting - There is no power and the LED display is
blank.

Check the following;

Ensure the AC power cord is fully inserted into the wall AC
receptacle by unplugging and replugging the microwave
oven AC power cord.
If it is plugged into an extention power cord, unplug the
microwave oven from the extension power cord and
reconnect
the power cord plug directly to a working dedicated 3
pronged
power receptacle.
Check your Circuit Breakers to ensure none are tripped or
your
Fuse box for any possible blown fuse. If a fuse is blown
replace
it with a fuse of equal amperage.

#5 Troubleshooting - An Error Code appears in the Microwave
display window.

CoolingThis indicated the fan is operating to cool the
electric components. The word "COOLING" will disappear
after the fan stops. This is normal operation.

display use. In this mode, the oven can be demonstrated
with no power in the oven. When in Demo mode the
microwave may appear to operate, however will not heat or
cook the food. Turn Demo mode Off.

FILL WATER TANK The water tank is empty. Refill the water
tank, position back in the oven and touch Start pad to
resume cooking.
HOT or HOT INSIDE WAIT The oven temperature is too high
from previous use (The cavity is overheated) and an auto
program can not be set. Cooking mode and time may still
be set manually. Wait until it cools down. For faster cooling
open the door.

#6 Troubleshooting - When cooking is finished, the fan inside the
Microwave oven does not stop.

After using the oven repeatedly, or for an extended period
of time, the cooling fan may continue to operate to cool the
electric components, even while / after the door has been
opened.
As the temperature of the microwave cavity has increased,
it is normal for the cooling fan motor to automatically
operate to cool the electronics parts.
The fan may operate for an additional 1 to 3 minutes after
the cooking cycle is complete and during this time, it is ok
to open the door to retrieve the items cooked.
This function varies by model, items cooked and the length
of usage but it is recommended to keep the oven plugged
in until the Fan Motor completely stops operating.
