Precautions
On moisture condensation
If the remote control is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, moisture may condense
inside or outside the remote control. This moisture condensation may cause a malfunction to the
remote control.
If moisture condensation occurs
Turn off the remote control and wait about 1 hour for the moisture to evaporate.
Note on moisture condensation
Moisture may condense when you bring the remote control from a cold place into a warm place (or
vice versa) or when you use the remote control in a humid place, as shown below.
When you bring the remote control from a ski slope into a warm place
When you bring the remote control from an air conditioned car or room into a hot place outside
When you use the remote control after a squall or a shower
When you use the remote control in a hot and humid place such as a bath
How to avoid moisture condensation
When you bring the remote control from a cold place into a warm place, put the remote control in a
plastic bag and seal it tightly. Remove the bag when the air temperature inside the plastic bag has
reached the ambient temperature (after about 1 hour).
