4.DisassemblyandReassembly
4-1ReplacementofMagnetron,MotorAssemblyandLamp
Removethemagnetronincludingtheshieldcase,
permanentmagnet,chokecoilsandcapacitors(allof
whicharecontainedinoneassembly).
1.Disconnectallleadwiresfromthemagnetron
andlamp.
2.Removeascrewsecuringaircover.
3.Removetheaircover.
4.Removescrewssecuringthemagnetrontothe
waveguide.
5.Takeoutthemagnetronverycarefully.
6.Removenutsfromthebackpanel.
7.Takeoutthefanmotor.
8.Removetheovenlampbyrotatingtopullout
fromholeofaircover.
NOTE1:Whenremovingthemagnetron,makesure
thatitsantennadoesnothitanyadjacent
parts,oritmaybedamaged.
NOTE2:Whenreplacingthemagnetron,besureto
remountthemagnetrongasketinthecorrect
positionandmakesurethegasketisingood
condition.
4-2ReplacementofHighVoltageTransformer
1.Dischargethehighvoltagecapacitor.
2.Disconnectalltheleads.
3.Removethemountingbolts.
4.Reconnecttheleadscorrectlyandfirmly.

Servicemenshouldremovetheirwatcheswhenever
workingclosetoorreplacingthemagnetron.

ThereexistsHIGHVOLTAGEELECTRICITYwithhighcurrentcapabilitiesinthecircuitsoftheHIGH
VOLTAGETRANSFORMERsecondaryandfilamentterminals.Itisextremelydangeroustoworkonornear

DONOTmeasurethevoltageinthehighvoltagecircuitincludingfilamentvoltageofmagnetron.
