1 Press the Menu button in the Display mode, then press
the bottom arrow on the Jog dial to select .
2 Press the right/left arrows on the Jog dial to select either
All-Frame erase or Card format and press the OK
button. Next, press the OK button with YES selected to
perform All-Frame erase or Card format.
● To cancel, press the Menu button or select NO in the
screen above and press the OK button.
3 When complete, NO PICTURE appears on the LCD
monitor.
● Protected pictures will remain when All-Frame erase is
performed, but will be erased with Card format.
Caution:
◆ Be careful not to erase important picture data by
mistake as it cannot be retrieved.
◆ Never open the card cover, eject the card,
remove the batteries, or pull the plug while
erasing pictures or formatting the card. It may
destroy the data in the card.
◆ See the Note on page 178 for performing Card
format.
