DIGITAL TELE MODE
In the Digital Tele mode, the subject can be
photographed (cropped to appear) 2.5 times as large.
When used with the 3X optical zoom, you can take an
approx. 7.5X zoom photograph. (p. 86)
1 In the Record mode, turn on the LCD monitor and press
the Menu button. Press the bottom arrow on the Jog dial
to select .
2 Press the right/left arrows on the Jog dial to select 1x,
1.6x, 2x or 2.5x.
● The adjustment is canceled when the LCD monitor is
turned off.
● See the Note on page 98.
● This mode can only be used in the SQ mode (automatically
sets).
● In the SQ (XGA) recording mode, the image may take
longer to record and it may be grainy when 2x or 2.5x is
