When the UPDATE button flashes four times, the update procedure can be terminated by tapping and holding the
UPDATE button (This does not necessarily apply to all cases.).
Software update may fail during the procedure if the network environment is not adequate. In this case, update the
software by using a USB flash drive. For details on the update procedure using a USB flash drive, see the Customer
support websites.
The pre-installed software can be updated automatically when the speaker is connected to the internet; whether via a
wired or Wi-Fi network as the default setting. If you want to deactivate this automatic update function, change the
setting of [Auto Update] by using your smartphone/iPhone with SongPal installed. When the speaker detects the
availability of a software update, the update will start during the night when the speaker is unlikely to be in frequent
use. The UPDATE button works as described in this Help Guide.
Note
Updating normally takes 3 to 10 minutes. It may take longer depending on your network environment.
Keep the speaker connected to an AC outlet via the AC adaptor and network while updating. Update cannot be
carried out when the speaker is powered by the built-in battery only.
Software update is active only when the speaker is connected to an AC outlet via the AC adaptor.
The speaker cannot play back music files in a USB flash drive even if the USB flash drive is connected to the DC
OUT ONLY port (USB).
