Problem Possible cause and remedy
Coffee flows very slowly
or even drips from the
central spout.
The brew unit is blocked because the coffee machine
has been used very intensively and/or the brew unit
was not removed regularly and cleaned by hand.
If a cleaning cartridge is fitted, first switch off
Automatic cleaning (Settings| Automatic cleaning).
Carry out the Degrease the brew unit maintenance
programme using one cleaning tablet (see
“Cleaning and care - Degreasing the brew unit and
cleaning the interior”).
Clean the brew unit filters in particular very
carefully.
Switch on Automatic cleaning, if necessary, before
starting drink preparation again.
Otherwise the Clean the milk pipework and Degrease the
brew unit maintenance programmes must be started
again.
