Problem Possible cause and remedy
Check water intake and
empty the water container
Mains water intake is not working.
Check whether the inlet hose is kinked or the tap
is not turned on completely.
Remove and empty the water container.
Fit the empty water container in the coffee
machine.
Please wait. Water container filling. appears in the
display. The water container is filled.
If you want to switch off the mains water connection,
fill the water container and place it in the machine.
Now you can select Mains water | Off in the Settings
menu.
F233 The cup rim sensor is not inserted or is incorrectly
inserted.
If the central spout is moving upwards and the cup
rim sensor is bumped, e.g. with a cup, the cup rim
sensor loses its reference position.
Confirm the message with OK.
Refit the cup rim sensor.
Cup detection is deactivated until the next time the
coffee machine is switched on and the central spout
remains in the highest position. Cup detection is
initialised again the next time the machine is switched
on.
F355, F357– F362 The bean system must be set up again, e.g. coffee
beans have possibly got jammed.
Open the appliance door and remove both bean
containers from the coffee machine.
Close the appliance door.
The bean system will be initialised.
Follow the instructions in the display.
