Useful tip: You can seal the descaling
cartridge with the cap located on the
cylinder of the cartridge. The cap can
easily be released by snapping it off.
Dispose of the empty cartridge with
your household waste.
Fitting the descaling cartridge
Insert the cartridge and push it
upwards as far as it will go.
Push the cartridge holder back in and
fit the maintenance container.
Close the appliance door.
Follow the instructions in the display.
The next time the coffee machine is
switched off, the new descaling
cartridge will also fill with water when
the machine is rinsed. You will hear
water being pumped into the cartridge
at frequent intervals.
Wait until the coffee machine
switches itself off. Do not force the
machine to switch off.
If you do not want to fit a descaling
cartridge, the system must be sealed
with the plug.
Insert the plug in place of the
cartridge.
Maintenance timer
You can select the start time for the
automatic maintenance programmes
under Maintenance timer.
Please note that the automatic
maintenance programmes require
approx. 2.5hours. For this reason, it is
best to set an evening time or a regular
time during which you do not use the
machine.
You can set various start times for the
weekend and the week from Monday to
Friday.
Setting the Maintenance timer
The drinks menu is displayed.
Touch the sensor.
Select Settings and then Timer.
Select Maintenance timer.
Change the settings as required and
confirm with OK.
