Always hand wash as described above and dry thoroughly. Any other
maintenance of the appliance should be performed by an authorized
service representative.
The oil tray should be emptied and cleaned frequently. It is located on
the back of the appliance. (Fig. 20)
Your appliance is equipped with a long lasting odor less charcoal filter.
For efficient anti-odor filtration, change your filter at least every 20 uses.
To change your charcoal filter:
Allow your fryer to cool down completely.
Remove the filter cover and responsibly dispose of the used filter. (Fig. 21)
Remove the new filter from the packaging.
Place the new filter in the filter holder.
Return the filter cover in place.
To change your aluminum filter:
It is recommended to wash the aluminum filter in a diswasher.
Allow your fryer to cool down completely.
Remove the fryer’s lid by opening it and pulling upwards.
Locate the filter holder under the lid and remove it by pulling it upwards.
Responsibly dispose of the used filter and replace it with the new filter.

Put the filter holder back into the fryer and put the lid back on.
CAUTION: Over-tightening can result in stripping of screws or nuts or
cracking of handle or feet.
RESET FUNCTION
Your appliance is equipped with an overheating safety
feature located below the mechanical assembly.
If you use your fryer with an empty oil tank the safety
cut-off is activated, and the appliance will shut off
automatically.
If this situation occurs, unplug the appliance and let it
cool down (about 10 minutes).

Then press the safety cut-off RESET button with a toothpick or a similar
nonmetallic object. (Fig.23)
