Maintenance
Never slide pans across the glass surface, as you may
scratch it. In addition, try not to drop heavy or sharp
objects on the glass. Never strike any part of the
cooktop.
Grains of sand that may come from cleaning fruits and
vegtables will scratch the glass surface.
The appliance requires only regular cleaning for proper
operation. No other maintenance is required.

Igniters / ceramic Carefully wipe with a cotton swab damp-
ened with water, ammonia or Formula

Gently scrape soil off with a toothpick.
Avoid excess water on the igniter. A
damp igniter will prevent burner from
lighting.
Remove any lint that may remain after
cleaning.
Glass surfaces Nonabrasive Cleaner: Dish soap and
hot water.
Rinse and dry immediately.
Always clean off any liquid as soon as it
is spilt. This will prevent food remains
from sticking to the cooktop surface and
you will save yourself any unnecessary
effort.
Melted sugar, or foods which contain a
lot of sugar which may have spilt,
should be cleaned off the cooking zone
immediately, using the glass scraper.
Avoid abrasive cleaners such as metal
scouring pads, scrub sponges, soap-
filled scouring pads and powder clean-
ers.
