Change ripping quality:
Press MENU to enter menu screen.
Use 3 or 4 and 2 to select Settings.
In Settings screen, press 3 or 4 and 2 to select Rec Quality.
Press 3 or 4 and 2 to select 128kbps, 160kbps, 192kbps, 256kbps, or 320kbps.
Press RECORD 0 (remote control REC) to start recording.
Tip
• By default, the recorded tracks are converted to MP3 files at the rate of 128kbps (near-CD
quality). For better sound quality, you can select a higher kbps rate.
• To edit track information on Center, see 6.10 Edit track information, or to edit track
information no your PC, see 12.1.2 Edit track information using WADM.
6.4.2 Import from your PC
The Wireless Audio Device Manager (WADM) in the supplied PC Suite CD helps you organize
music files on your PC and import them into Center. For details, see 12.1 Use WADM in this
manual.
6.4.3 Record from radio or external source
A maximum recording time of 3-hours can be made from the radio or an external source.
a In Radio mode, tune the desired radio station (see 8.1 FM radio:Tuning to radio
stations).
or
b In AUX mode, start playback from the external source.
Press RECORD
> The recoding starts.
Press STOP 9 to stop recording.
> The recording will be saved as a file under RADIO or AUX in Albums.A file name is assigned, e.g.
Radio_01, or Aux_01.
