Air flow must be unobstructed. Keep controls, burner, and circulating air passageways clean. Signs of possible
blockage include:
Gas odor with extreme yellow tipping of flame.
The product does not reach the desire temperature.
The product glow is excessively uneven.
The product makes popping noises.
Spiders and insects can nest in the burner or orifices. This dangerous condition can damage the product and
render it unsafe for use. Clean the burner holes by using a heavy-duty pipe cleaner. Compressed air may help
clear away smaller particles.
Carbon deposits may create a fire hazard. Disassemble the reflector, unscrew the reflector studs, take off the
emitter, take down one side of the guard screen. Then take the flame tube out of the product, wash to clean, and
let dry. Then reinsert the flame tube and reassemble the product.
NOTICE
In a salt-air environment (such as near an ocean), corrosion occurs more quickly than normal.
Frequently check for corroded areas and have them repaired/replaced promptly.
NOTICE
Use high-quality automobile wax to help maintain the appearance of your product. Apply to exterior
surfaces below the flame tube only. Do not apply to emitter, reflector, or flame tube.
