Automatic illumination of
headlamps
The dipped beam headlamps switch
on automatically if the light is poor and
when the windscreen wipers operate
continuously. They switch off when
the light is bright enough or the wind-
screen wipers stop.
Warning: in foggy weather or in snow,
the sunshine sensor can detect suffi -
cient light. The lighting will not come
on automatically. If necessary, you
must switch the dipped beam head-
lamps on manually.
Activation Manual "Guide-me-home" lighting
When you leave your vehicle, the side-
lamps and dipped beam headlamps
can be left on for a few seconds.
When the function is activated, the
indicator lamp comes on on the
5-dial instrument panel screen.
To deactivate or activate the
function, use the "Persona-
lisation - con guration"
menu on your multifunction
screen.
For safety reasons, activation/
deactivation of the "Automatic
illumination of headlampss"
function via the menu must be
carried out when stationary.
To deactivate or activate the
"Automatic guide-me-home
lighting" function, use the
"Personalisation - confi-
guration" menu on your
multifunction screen.
The duration of the lighting
can be set via the "Person-
alisation - confi guration"
menu of your multifunction
screen.
Automatic "Guide-me-home"
lighting
When you leave your vehicle with
the automatic illumination of head-
lamps activated, the sidelamps and

for the duration selected after the igni-
tion is switched off.
Deactivation
When the function is deactivated,
the indicator lamp comes on on the
5-dial instrument panel screen.
Do not cover the sunshine/
brightness sensor, located in
the centre of the windscreen.
It is used to regulate the air
conditioning and for the automatic il-
lumination of headlamps.
If the sunshine/brightness sensor
does not function correctly, the
sidelamps and dipped beam headlam-
ps come on.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
Activation:
switch off the engine,
"fl ash" the headlamps,
