8. Select FFT Mode
Press Mode to set the data source of the FFT operation to "Trace" or
"Memory*".
Trace
The data source of the FFT operation is the data of the waveform
displayed on the screen; the length is up to 1200 points.
The FFT sample rate is the screen sample rate (namely 100/horizontal
time base).
Memory*
The data source of the FFT operation is the data of the waveform in the
memory; the length is up to 16384 points. When the memory depth
doesnt exceed 16384 points, all of the data is used for FFT operation.
Otherwise, the instrument will read data of 16384 points according to
the trigger position; the read rule is as follows:
If the trigger position is before the start point of the memory, the
instrument will read the data of 16384 points from the start point
of the memory.
