Set event record if you need the camera to record when event occurs.

Steps

Go to Param Cong → Storage → Schedule Sengs → Recording Schedule .

Select camera.

Check Enable, and select record type as Alarm.

Oponal: Click Advanced to set pre-record, post-record, video expiry date and stream type.
