Chapter 3 Basic Operaon

3.1 Set LAN IP Address

3.1.1 Set Internal IP

The internal network is for self-adapve network interfaces on the device panel. It is mainly used

to connect the capture camera, display screen and other devices.

Steps

Go to Param

Cong → Network → Basic Sengs → TCP/IP → Internal Network Sengs .

Select NIC Type according to the actual network.

Set network parameters.

Check Auto to get the IP address

automacally if the network supports distribung the IP

address automacally.

Manually enter IP address, subnet mask, gateway, MTU, and other parameters.

The internal IP address and the device on the internal network segment (such as the capture

camera) should be set to the same network segment, and it must be set to a dierent network

segment from the external IP address.

MTU stands for maximum transmission unit. It is the size of the largest protocol data unit that

can be communicated in a single network layer transacon.

Click Save.
