CAST IRON POT
• e cast iron pot and lid are oven-safe.
• e removable pot can be used on a gas burner, electric burner, or on an induction plate.
• Do not cut food directly in the pot.
COOKING WITH ELECTRICAL BASE
• Plug the appliance in.
• e appliance will make a “beep” sound and the display will light up.
• During cooking or KEEP WARM (any menu) – e display will be ON ;
• If no action is taken, the display will turn OFF after about 60 sec.
• Press any button to turn the display back ON. Press the
button to select the desired cooking program. Keep
pressing the
button until you reach the desired program.
• Once you selected your cooking program, you can adjust cooking time and/or cooking temperature by pressing
the
button.
• e following programs, “Slow Cook High”, “Slow Cook Low”, and “Saute”, only allow to adjust cooking time.
Cooking temperature is set to an ideal temperature for these programs, for best convenience.
• e “Manual” program allows you to fully customize your dish by selecting desired cooking time and temperature
manually.
• Once all the settings are selected, Press the
button. e “START” red light will light up. e appliance starts
the Preheating mode, shown on the top right of the screen. e selected cooking time is displayed on the screen.
• Once the Dutch Oven has reached temperature, the “Preheating” sign disappears and the cooking time starts
counting down.
• You can cancel preheating or cooking at any time by pressing the
button.
• To adjust the cooking temperature or cooking time while in use, press the
button .
