AXIS Q7414 - Events
Examples:
Avoid triggering on small objects in the video image by setting the object size level to high.
To reduce the number of triggers if there is a lot of movement during a short period of time, select a high history
level.
To only detect flashing light, select low sensi
tivity. In other cases, a high sensitivity level is recommended.
Audio Detection
Event types in AXIS Q7414 can be set to use Audio Alarm Level as a trigger. Each individual event type can be configured to
trigger if the sound level rises above, falls below or passes the set value. The alarm level can be set in the range 0-100, where
0 is the most sensitive and 100 the least sensitive.
When setting the alarm level use the activity indicator as
a guide. Place the level so that sound that should be triggered on is
on the correct side of the bar.
Port Status
Under Events > Port Status there is a list showing the status for AXIS Q7414’s input and output. This is for the benefit of
Operators who have no access to the System Options section.
Example: If the Normal state for a push button connected to an input is set to Open circuit - as long as the button is not
pushed, the state is inactive. If the button is pushed, the state of the input changes to active.
