Sabbath Program
The Sabbath Program and Yom-Tov
Special Modes help to support religious
observance.
To comply with the Sabbath regulations,
follow the instructions on the display.
The oven heats up to the temperature
you have set and maintains this
temperature for a maximum of 24hours
(Sabbath Program) or 76hours (Yom-
Tov). In both Special Modes, the oven
turns off automatically after 76hours.
Turn off cabinet door front
recognition.
Place the food in the oven.
Select Special Modes.
Select Sabbath Program.
Select the Special Mode you want
(Sabbath Program or Yom-Tov).
Select the operating mode you want
to use.
You will not be able to start the Special
Mode if you have set a timer or alarm.
Once a Special Mode has started, it
cannot be changed or saved under
Favorites.
The Special Mode will be canceled in
the event of a power failure. After a
power failure, the oven will only
remain in compliance with Sabbath
regulations for as long as it continues
to be disconnected from the power
supply. As soon as the connection is
restored, Power failure -Program
cancelled is displayed.
Using Sabbath Program
This Special Mode is suitable for the
weekly Sabbath (Shabbat). You can use
it to keep food warm for up to 24hours,
until after the first door opening.
Set the temperature.
Select Start.
Sabbath Program and the set
temperature will appear in the display.
The oven heating will turn on around
30seconds after you have closed the
door. The oven interior lighting will
remain on during the entire cooking
process.
The time of day will not appear. The
motion sensor will not respond, and
neither will any of the sensor buttons
(except for the On/Off switch).
The following message is displayed:
Sabbath - Do not open the door. This
message disappears after approx.
45minutes and is displayed again from
time to time after that.
If the message is not displayed, the
oven is not heating up and you can
open the door and close it again.
As soon as you have opened the door
for the first time, the oven heating
remains turned off until the end of the
Special Mode.
If you leave the door closed until the
end of the Special Mode, the oven
heating will only turn off after
24hours. The oven remains turned on.
If you want to end the Special Mode
prematurely, turn off the oven using
the On/Off switch.
