7 Handle
Use this handle to set up the speaker on the floor or
install it on a microphone stand. You can also use it as a
carrying handle to transport the unit. For more
information, refer to “Installation and Usage Examples”
(page 12).
8 Fixing screws
Turn the screws clockwise to tighten them. Turn the
screws counter-clockwise to loosen them.
9 [INPUT] jacks (channels 1&2)
These are mic/line input jacks. These combo jacks
support both XLR and phone plugs. Connect
microphones, guitars, electronic musical instruments or
audio equipment. Channel 2 supports Hi-Z. Set the [MIC/
LINE] switches (2) according to the input signal level.
) [INPUT] jack (channel 3)
This input jack supports a stereo-mini plug. Connect line-
level devices such as electronic musical instruments,
acoustic-electric guitars, CD players, and portable audio
players. A stereo input signal will be internally mixed into
a monaural signal.
! [Hi-Z] switch (channel 2)
Turn this switch on when connecting a musical
instrument with passive pickups (such as an acoustic-
electric guitar or electric bass without a battery) directly
to the STAGEPAS 100 without a DI (direct box). This
function is effective only for the signals input via the
phone jack.
@ [OUTPUT] jack
This output jack supports an XLR-type plug. You can
connect a powered speaker to this jack for monitoring
purposes. Mixed monaural signals are output from here.
# [DC IN] jack
Connect the included power adaptor here.
$ [P] (Power) switch
Press and hold down this switch to turn the power to the
unit on or off. The [POWER] LED (5) on the front panel
lights up when the power is turned on.
NOTICE
Even when the [P] (Power) switch is turned off (the LED
turns off), a minimal amount of electric current is still
flowing to the unit. If you plan not to use the unit for an
extended period of time, be sure to unplug the power cord
from the AC outlet.
Rapidly turning the [P] (Power) switch on and off in
succession may cause the unit to malfunction. After
turning off the [P] (Power) switch, wait for about six
seconds before turning it on again.
% Bass-reflex port
This is a bass-reflex port of this product. Do not insert
your hand or finger into this port.
NOTE
Air blowing out of the bass reflex ports is normal, and often
occurs when the speaker is handling program material with
heavy bass content.
