Charging the Build-in Battery (STAGEPAS 100BTR Only)
The STAGEPAS 100BTR can be used without a power adaptor if the built-in battery is charged.
Charging the battery
1 Connect the unit to power (see
“Connecting the unit to power” on
page 10).
When you connect the power cord to an AC outlet, the
unit automatically starts charging the battery.
While the battery is being charged, the [POWER] LED
flashes green.
NOTE
The battery is charged regardless of the on/off status of the
power switch.
While audio is being input, the charging process is
interrupted. One minute after the audio input stops, the
charging process resumes.
2 Make sure that the [BATTERY] LED lights
green steadily (indicating that the battery
is fully charged).
Typically, charging the battery fully takes about two and a
half hours.
NOTICE
In an excessively warm or cold environment, the battery might
not be charged.
To maintain battery function, charge the battery once every
half year.

With the power adaptor
In case of battery abnormality, turn off the power to the unit,
disconnect the power adaptor, and contact your Yamaha
dealer.
Without the power adaptor
* If the LED turns off, the battery abnormality may be caused by one
of the following reasons:
The battery is being used in an excessively warm or cold
environment.
The battery protection function has been activated.
The battery is defective (deep discharge).
The battery is over-discharged.
If the battery is not charged completely even after the
charging process is complete, or if for some reason the
battery cannot be charged, the batter life may be expired.
Please contact your Yamaha dealer.
