Steam User Interface (Fig. K)
This hand held steam unit is fitted with a steam user
interface 2 which shows two steam settings. They
are used to select the correct operating mode for your
particular cleaning operation.
1. Turn Unit on with On/Off switch.
-The boiler LED 27 starts flashing green as the boiler
heats up.
-The LED stays solid green once the boiler is up to
operating temperature.
2. User must press either the low steam flow 28 or high
steam flow 29 button to create steam.
-The steam flow LED 35 will illuminate white to show
which steam setting is being used.
-Press the steam flow button 28 or 29 again to pause
the steam flow and white steam flow LED 35 will
turn off.
NOTE: Always check you are using the correct setting before
using your hand held steam unit.
3. To switch the appliance off, press the ON/Off switch 1 so
that the "O" is in the down position.
NOTE: See the chart below for more details on the steam
user interace.

Switching On/Off (Fig. F)
NOTE: When first filled or after running dry, it can take up to
45 seconds for steam to be produced.
1. To switch the appliance on, press the ON/Off switch 1 so
that the "I" is in the down position. It takes approximately thirty
seconds for the boiler to heat up to operating temperature..
2. Once the boiler is at operating temperature, press one of
the steam flow buttons 28 or 29 to produce steam.
3. To switch the appliance off, press the ON/Off switch 1 so
that the "O" is in the down position.
4. Always place the hand held steam unit with attached
floor extension and floor cleaning head supported in
the upright position when stationary and make sure the
hand held steam unit IS turned off when not in use.
CAUTION: Never use the floor cleaning head without
first attaching a cleaningpad.
IMPORTANT: This unit will kill 99.9% of germs when used in
accordance with the instructions in this manual and with the
micro-fiber pad fitted and a continuous run time of 90seconds.
CAUTION: Never leave the floor cleaning head in one
spot on any surface for any period of time.
CAUTION: Do not store with a wet pad as this can
damage your floor.
CAUTION: Always place the hand held steam unit with
attached floor extension7 and floor cleaning head8
supported in the upright position when stationary and
make sure the hand held steam unit is turned OFF and
unplugged when not inuse.
CAUTION: Always empty the water tank after use.
NOTICE:
Do not use on any unsealed hard floor surfaces.
Additionally, on surfaces that have been treated with wax
or some no wax floors, the sheen may be removed by
the heat and steam action. It is always recommended to
test an isolated area of the surface to be cleaned before
proceeding. We also recommend that you check the use
and care instructions from the floormanufacturer.
OPERATION
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and disconnect it from
power source before making any adjustments or
removing/installing attachments or accessories.
An accidental start-up can causeinjury.
NOTE: Fill the water tank with clean tapwater.
NOTE: In areas of hard water, the use of distilled water
isrecommended.
NOTE: Ensure the filler cap is firmly secured.
NOTE: Always empty the water tank afteruse.
1. Open the filler cap 4 by flipping it up.
2. Fill the water tank 5 with water. Do not use any additives
or chemicals.
3. Close the filler cap 4 securely.
