NOTE: Before removing the burner caps
and heads, remember their size and
location. Replace them in the same
location offer cleaning.

Replaceburner heads overthe electrodes
on the cooktop, in the correct locations
according to their size.

Liftoff when cool. Wash burner caps
in hot, soapg water and rinsewith clean
wateEYounag scour with a plastic scouring
pad to remove burned-on food particles.

The slitsin the burner heads must be kept
cleanat all timesfor an even,unhampered
flame.

Hake surethe slot in the burner head is
positioned over the electrode.
Ang spillon or around an electrode must
becarefullg cleaned.Takecare to not hit
an electrode with angthing hard or it could
bedamaged.
Youshould cleanthe burner caps and
burner heads routinelg, especiallgafter bad
spillovers,which could clogthe openings
in the burner heads.Lift off when cool.
Toremove burned-on food, soak the burner
headsin a solution of mild liquid detergent
and hot water for 20-30 minutes. For more
stubborn stains, usea toothbrush.
After cleaning
Before putting the burner caps and heads
back, shake out excess water and then drg
them thoroughlg bg setting in a warm oven
for 30 minutes.
NOTE:Do not use steel wool or scouring
powders to cleon the burners.
Replacethe matching size caps onto the
heads.Thereisone small,two medium and
one large cap. Sizesare stamped into the
bottom of the caps.
Hake surethat the heads and caps are
replaced in the correct locations.
NOTE:On somemodels, theburnersare all
the same size and power.
