Oven Control
Your oven is controlled by a single OVEN
CONTROL knob.
Itwill normallg take 30-90 seconds before
the flame comes on. After the oven reaches
the selected temperature, the oven burner
cycles-off completel U,then on with a
full flame-to maintain the selected
temperature.
Plastic items on the cooktop may
melt if left too close to the vent.
Vent appearance and location vary.
Oven Vent
Youroven isvented through ducts at the rear
of the range. Do not block these ducts when
cooking in the oven-it isimportant that the
flow of hot air from the ovenand fresh air
to the ovenburner be uninterrupted.
Avoidtouching the vent openings or
nearbg surfaces during oven or broiler
operation-theg mag become hot.
?_;Handles of pots and pans on the cooktop

!i_:Metal items will become verdihot ifthey ore
left on the cooktop, and couldcause burns.
Power Outage (electric ignition models)
^ CAUTION: notma e
attempt to operate theelectricignition oven
during an electricalpower failure.
Theoven or broiler cannot be lit during
a power failure. Gaswill not flow unless
the glow bar ishot.
If the oven is in usewhen a power failure
occurs, the oven bumer shuts off and cannot
be re-lit until power is restored.Thisis
because the flow of gasis automaticallg
stopped and will not resume when power
