Gourmet perforated baking
tray
The Gourmet perforated baking tray
can be used in 55 cm and 60 cm wide
Miele ovens from the following ranges:
H 2265-1 – H 28xx,
H 47xx / H 48xx,
H 5xxx, H 6xxx,
H 7xxx.
It is also suitable for use in the following
steam combination ovens:
DGC 508x / 509x XL,
DGC 65-68xx XL, DGC 7xxx.
The Gourmet perforated baking tray is
not suitable for use in microwave
combination ovens or in appliances
which are more than 60 cm wide.
Using your tray
Do not use the Gourmet perforated
baking tray for
wet mixtures, e.g. creamed
mixture,
dough which becomes more
moist during the baking
process, e. g. drop cookies,
items with a high fat content,
e.g. croissants, or fish fingers,
cakes which need brushing with
liquid during baking or which
have a granular topping, such
as sugar,
meat or fish.
This will avoid unnecessary soiling
of the oven floor.
Freshly prepared baked items
The Gourmet perforated baking tray is
particularly suitable for baking fresh
Hyeast and quark dough items.
Extremely good results are achieved
when baking white bread, yeast rolls
and tray cakes as they will be
light and soft on the inside,
evenly browned and
have a good, even surface or crust.
Frozen / Ready-made items
The Gourmet perforated baking tray
can be used to cook deep frozen and
also fresh, ready-made items.
It will give items such as chips and
part-baked rolls a really crisp finish.
Drying food
The Gourmet perforated baking tray is
very good for drying fruit or vegetables.
It is easy to dry apple rings, plums and
tomatoes as the pieces will remain in
position and dry quickly.

You will find suggestions for using your

recipe booklet supplied with your oven.
The recipes in the booklet can also be
used as a basis for your own recipes.
