4. Click Scan a Document or Photo.
5. Select the type of scan you want and then click Scan.
● Choose Save as PDF to save the document (or photo) as a PDF le.
● Choose Save as JPEG to save the photo (or document) as an image le.
NOTE: The initial screen allows you to review and modify basic settings. Click the More link at the top
right corner of the Scan dialog box to review and modify detailed settings.
For more information, see Change scan settings (Windows).
If Show Viewer After Scan is selected, you can make adjustments to the scanned image in the preview
screen.
Scan to email
Set up Scan to Email
You need to set up email addresses rst, and then scan and email your documents.
NOTE: You need a network-connected computer to set up Scan to Email.
1. From Home screen, touch Scan, and then touch Email.
2. If Web Services is not enabled, follow the instructions in the “Set up Web Services” section of this guide,
and then repeat step 1.
3. If Web Services is enabled, a Welcome message displays. Touch Continue.
4. Enter your email address, and then touch Continue.
5. Enter the PIN sent to the email address you entered in the previous step, and then touch Continue.
6. Touch Log In to complete setup.
Scan a document or photo to email
1.
Load your original print-side down on the scanner glass or print-side up in the document feeder.
2. From Home screen, touch Scan, and then touch Email.
3. Conrm the email account that you want to use, and touch Continue.
If you want to change email account, touch
, select the email account you want to use, and then touch
Continue.
4. Enter recipient's email address in the To eld.
Or touch
, select the email account you want to send to, and then touch Continue.
5. Enter email subject in the Subject eld.
6. Touch if you want to preview scanned photo or document.
Touch
to change settings.
