WARNING: Keep hands and fingers
away from the area between the hood
and door while closing. They may not be
detected by sensors. It's good practice
to keep your hands away from this area
while opening or closing the hood.
Accessing the Rear Cargo Area
To access the lower cargo area inside the rear
trunk, pull up on the handle of the cargo cover.
The cargo cover is not attached to the
vehicle and can be folded back or removed if
necessary.
Trunk Interior Emergency Release
A mechanical release, located on the inside of
the trunk, allows you to open the trunk if the
vehicle has no electrical power.
Note: The mechanical release will allow a
person trapped inside to get out.
1. Pull the handle firmly outward to release
the trunk latch.
2. Push upwards on the deck lid to open the
trunk.
