Using the Sear 2 Function
1. Press Sear 3 times. The screen will show “450F”, “Sear”, “2”,
“00:05”, “Fan” and “Preheat”.
2. Press START/PAUSE. “2” and “:” will all ash.
The Pro Smart Oven will cook at the set temperature and
time and then sear at 450F for 5 minutes.
Once it has nished cooking, the screen will show “END”
and the Pro Smart Oven will beep three (3) times.
3. To set the main cooking time or temperature after pressing Sear:
Press and hold STAGE. The screen will show “Stage 1”,
“350F”, “00:15”. Even though the Pro Smart Oven is no
longer in Sear mode, remembers that Sear 2 has been set.
Sear as an Independent Function
Sear temperatures and times can be adjusted prior and during the
searing process.
1. Press and hold Sear.
The Pro Smart Oven will begin to sear at 450F for 5 minutes
(00:05).
The user can then adjust the Sear temperature and time.
2. The screen will show “Sear” (“1” and “2” will not be lit).
3. The Pro Smart Oven will sear at the set temperature and time,
and then beep three times and display “END”.
Heat/FAN
Heat/FAN allows you to control the heat source (top, bottom, and/or
rear) and power (from 0-100%, by 5% increment), as well as the fan
speed from 3 (Highest) to 0 (Off).
Controlling the Oven Heat
The default heat settings are: 80% (rear) / 10% (top) / 10% (bottom).
1. Press Heat/FAN.
2. Turn the Select dial to adjust the power of the rear heat, from
0-100%, by 5% increments.
3. Press Heat/FAN again.
4. Turn the Select dial to adjust the power of the top heat, from
0-100%, by 5% increments.
5. Press Heat/FAN a 3rd time.
6. Turn the Select dial to adjust the power of the bottom heat,
from 0-100%, by 5% increments.
