Problem Possible Solution
• Line won_ feed. • Unwrap line and rewind.
• Line fails to cut off. . Return to service center for repair.
• Rewind or trim line to line cutter.
• Unit will not start. . Check battery installation.
• Check battery charging requirements.
• Press trigger lock in.
•Battery won _ charge. .Insert battery into charger urttil green LED appears.
• Plug charger into a working outlet. Refer to
"Important Charging Notes" for more details.
• Check current at receptacle by plugging in a
lamp or other appliance.
• Check to see if receptacle is connected to a
light switch which turns power off when you turn
out the lights.
•Surrounding air temperature too hot or too cold. . Move charger and tool to a surrounding air
temperature of above 40 degree F (4.5°C) or
below 105 degree F (+40.5°C).
•Trimmer / Battery has low . Battery not charged full 9 hours. . Charge battery for full 9 hours or until the
runtJme, green LED charging light goes out.
•Additional battery needed. . Contact your local Black & Decker retailer,
service center or call 1-800-544-6986 for
assistance in obtaining accessories.
