8 Remove the upper ue from inside the lower ue. Install
the lower ue bracket to the lower ue using (2) ue bracket
screws (no. 8 x
3
/8"). Make sure that the bracket is positioned
inside of the lower ue anges - with the slots on top.
Carefully replace the upper ue inside the lower ue. Remove
protective plastic lm covering the lower ue only.
9 Carefully place both ues into the recessed area of hood
top. Slightly push aside the upper ue to avoid any damage
while installing the lower ue to the hood top by using (2)
no. 8 x
3
/8" screws through the lower ue side slots.
10 Attach non-duct plenum with collar to upper ue using (4)
no. 8 x
3
/8" pan head screws.
11 Hold hood up close to wall mounting location and plug power
cord into wall outlet.
12 Align the hood and center it above the hood mounting
bracket. Gently lower the hood until it securely engages the
bracket.

13 With the hood hanging in place, drill through both holes
located in the inside lower back of hood using a
5
/16" drill
bit. Insert the included drywall anchors into the drilled holes
(one for each hole). Install (2) washers and (2) no. 8 x 1½"
mounting screws through the back of the hood and into the
drywall anchors. Verify that the hood is centered and leveled.
Tighten all screws completely.
14 Attach (2) two non-duct recirculation lters to sides of
blower by aligning key lock slot and rotating until lters lock
into place. For replacement non-duct recirculation lters -
purchase SKCH32CFL for SHC2432FS; SKCH62CFL for
SHC3062FS, SHC3042FS and SHC3662FS (set of 2 lters).

15 Install grease lters by aligning rear lter tabs with slots
in the hood. Pull down the metal latch tab, push lter into
position and release. Make sure lters are securely engaged
after installation.
16 Slide up the upper ue upward until it is aligned with its
upper ue mounting bracket. The bracket should be inside
the ue. Secure the upper ue to the upper ue mounting
bracket using (2) no. 8 x
3
/8" mounting screws.
