•“MultEQ® XT”, “Dynamic EQ” and “Dynamic Volume” settings are stored for each
input source.
•“MultEQ® XT”, “Dynamic EQ” and “Dynamic Volume” cannot be set when the
sound mode is set to “DIRECT” or “PURE DIRECT”.
2 MultEQ
®
XT
MultEQ® XT compensates for both time and frequency characteristics
of the listening area based on Audyssey® Setup measurement results.
Selection is done from three types of compensation curves. We
recommend the “Audyssey” setting.
Audyssey (Default) : Optimize the frequency response of all speakers.
Audyssey Byp.L/R : Optimize frequency response of speakers except
front L and R speakers.
Audyssey Flat : Optimize frequency response of all speakers to flat
response.
Manual EQ : Apply frequency response set with “Manual EQ”
(vpage128).
O : Turn “MultEQ® XT” equalizer o.
%
•When using headphones, “MultEQ® XT” is automatically set to “O”.
2 Dynamic EQ
Solves the problem of deteriorating sound quality as volume is
decreased by taking into account human perception and room
acoustics. Works with MultEQ® XT.
On (Default) : Use Dynamic EQ.
O : Do not use Dynamic EQ.
%
•When the menu “Dynamic EQ” setting is “On”, it is not possible to do “Tone
Control” (vpage124) adjustment.
