1. You must detach the BATTERY PACK
from the camcorder when storing.
2. Keep the camcorder in a ventilated,
dry andwarm place.
3. Do not keep the camcorder in a place
where the temperature varies
greatly, such as in acar.
4. Keepthe camcorder in a stable place.
Using Your Camcorder Abroad
_. Each country or area has its own electric and TV color system.
÷ Beforeusing your camcorderabroad, check the following points.
• You can use your camcorder in any country or area with the supplied AC power adaptor
within 10OVto 240V, 50/60 Hz.
• Use a commercially available AC plug adaptor, if necessary, depending on the design of
the localwall outlet.
• You can view your recording in the viewfinder.
However, to view it on atelevision or copy it to avideo cassette recorder,
the television or VCR mustbe NTSC-compatible and havethe appropriate audio/video jacks.
Otherwise, you may need to use a transcoder.
