Preparing the Job Site
1. Ensure the job site is clean before working with the Peel & Stick Radiant Heat Film, free of any nails, screws and
other sharp debris that could damage the mats.
2. Tile flooring installations must meet subfloor requirements set forth by the Tile Council of North America (TCNA).
CAUTION:
The heating mat’s edge is left unsealed from the factory so that it can
be cut to fit and then sealed for proper moisture proofing. Even if
cutting is not needed, sealing the edge of the mat is still required as
it is not pre-sealed out of the box! Familiarize yourself with sealing
the mat’s edge on page 10, step 3. Failing to do this step can result in
undesired GFCI tripping and will void the warranty.
