Vudu offers this filtering and sorting to filter out unwanted results or sorting in the your preferred order in order
to find the result quickly.
In any list, you can look for the top left to find the Filter and Sort to select and narrow down the result.

Filtering
The result for filtering will be the AND product of all
of the selected filters.
By Genre: You can choose to filter the result by
genre to get only the result in a specific category of
movies. The user may only select one genre per this
kind of filter.
By MPAA Rating: You can choose to filter by MPAA
rating which is appropriate for the target of viewers.
There is only one rating can be chosen for this filter.
By Critics’ Rating: The critics rating filter helps you
to narrow down the result in term of star rating.
By Studio: Studio is one of the important criteria for
filtering result. As often some studio is more family
friendly then the others or some studio is more
international oriented. Since the list of studio is
also very large, Vudu offers to filter only the major
Hollywood studios.
Sorting
By Top Picks: Top Picks is the Vudu’s editorial rank-
ing for a particular movie. The sort order is
descending or best recommended movie at the top.
By Most Watched: You can choose to sort the list as
Most Watched. The sort order is to have the Vudu
service most watched movie at the top.
By Critics’ Rating: You can sort by critics’ rating.
The sort order is to have the higher star rating at
the top.
By Release Date: You can sort by release date to
quickly find out the most recent movie in the list
result. The sort order is the most recent at the top.
A through Z: This sort is pure alphabetic sorting.
Note: “The” will not affect the sort result. i.e. “The
11th Hour” would go before the movie “12 Angry
Men”.
