Electrical Requirements
Read all safety precautions listed at the beginning of this manual. It is recommended that you
use receptacles that cannot be turned off by a switch or pull chain.
Make sure there is an electrical supply (outlet) within reach of the electrical power supply
cord.
The dishwasher is equipped with a power supply cord having a 3-prong grounding plug. To
minimize possible shock hazard, the cord must be plugged into a mating 3-pronged and
grounding-type wall receptacle providing 110-120V, 60Hz, grounded in accordance with the
National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances. If a mating wall receptacle is not
available, it is the personal responsibility of the customer to have a properly grounded, 3-
prong wall receptacle installed by a certified electrician. Use a circuit that is rated for at
least 10 Amps.
Caution:
• Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power
cord.
• Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug with this appliance.
