Adjusting the front seats manually

To move the front seats forward or backward:
[SS00600(ALL)01/96] 1. Find the adjustment bar at the lower cushion of the front
seat.
[SS00700(ALL)01/96] 2. Pull the bar up to unlatch the seat.

[SS00800(ALL)01/96] 3. Move the seat to the desired position.

[SS00900(ALL)01/96] 4. Release the bar to latch the seat in its new position. Make
sure the seat locks securely in place.

Never adjust the driver’s seat or seatback when the
vehicle is moving.
