Switching on the appliance/
selecting a programme
Note: The appliance must be correctly
installed and connected.
1. Switch on the appliance.
Notes
– It may take a few seconds for the
appliance to switch on.
– If you are switching the appliance
on for the first time, you will need
to select the language you
require (you will not need to do
this every time). ~ Page 34
2. Scroll through the options to find the
programme you require.
Note: If you have saved
programmes as favourites, switch to
Favourites and select the
programme you require from there.

3. Touch the required programme.
Your programme has now been
selected and the associated
programme settings and
programme features will be
displayed.
Note: If the childproof lock has been
activated, you may need to deactivate it
before you can make any changes on
the touch display or start the
programme. ~ Page 32
Putting the washing in the
drum
1. Prepare and sort the laundry.
2. Press Ï to open the door and check
whether the drum has been
completely emptied. If required,
empty the drum.
Notes
– You can only open the door if the
appliance is switched on.
– If the door will not open (e.g. due
to a power cut), you can open the
