Chat
Chat is an instant messaging service running on Synology NAS that allows you to send and receive important
messages anytime via a web page, the desktop application, or the mobile app, helping your business create a
safe and private instant conversation environment with ease.
Cloud Station ShareSync
When Cloud Station ShareSync is paired with Drive, together they can provide you a file sharing service that
allows you to synchronize files between multiple Synology NAS devices. Before syncing files with client devices,
Drive is required to be installed on the host server, while Cloud Station ShareSync has to be installed on each
client Synology NAS device you want to sync with.
Cloud Sync
Cloud Sync allows you to seamlessly synchronize and share files among your Synology NAS and multiple public
cloud services, such as Dropbox, Baidu Cloud, Google Drive, Box, OneDrive and hubiC. Its Selective Sync
feature also allows you to filter the files or select the folders you want to sync to the public cloud service to ensure
you have only the files you need on the public cloud service or vice versa.
Drive
Drive provides a unified portal for all the files that are stored on Synology NAS. Via client software, you can
seamlessly synchronize files between computer, mobile device and another Synology NAS. Furthermore, Drive
allows you to access to Synology Office and other regular files to share and manage your files.
DNS Server
DNS (Domain Name System) is a naming system that facilitates the exchange of data between computers over
the Internet and other networks. Its main function is to translate user-friendly domain names (e.g.
www.synology.com) into corresponding fixed, public IP addresses (e.g. 120.89.71.100). This function allows
users to easily find web pages, computers, or other devices over the Internet or local network.
Download Station
Download Station is a web-based download application which allows you to download files from the Internet
through BT, FTP, HTTP, NZB, Thunder, FlashGet, QQDL, eMule, and Xunlei-Lixian, and subscribe to RSS feeds
to keep you updated on the hottest or latest BT. The Auto Extract service automatically unzips files downloaded
to Synology NAS.
Moments
Synology Moments allows you to organize photos and videos stored in Synology Drive. It makes photo sorting
and tagging fast and easy with its facial and object recognition features. In addition, date and location information
of your photos is marked in a timeline, keeping a detailed track of the special moments captured in your everyday
life.
Note Station
Note Station helps you fully enjoy writing, viewing, managing, and sharing content-rich notes. It is very easy to
create content with rich text editing, media embedding, attachments, and much more. In addition, with Synology
Web Clipper, you can quickly and easily clip web content and access it via Note Station.
Photo Station
Photo Station is an online photo album specifically designed for professional photographers to easily share
photos and videos as well as collect feedback over the Internet. With Photo Station, you can upload, organize,
edit, and share your photos in quick, easy steps.
