When the mode is set to
z
(Manual Focus), the central portion of the
picture is enlarged to full screen on the LCD monitor for focus
adjustment. Use the four-way controller (23) to adjust the focus while
watching the indicator on the LCD monitor.
After the focus is set, press the OK button to
determine the focus position.
Press the OK button again to change the
previously determined focus position.
The default setting is Autofocus mode.
The zoom is fixed at the middle position and only the digital zoom
can be used in Super Macro mode.
Only Autofocus, Infinity-Landscape and Manual Focus modes can
be selected in Movie mode (
1p.47).
The flash does not fire in Super Macro mode.
If you take a picture while looking through the viewfinder when the
focus mode is set to Macro or Super Macro, the range of the
resulting picture will differ from what was seen in the viewfinder. Be
sure to check the image on the LCD monitor.
