■ Pre-Collision Braking System operation indicator
After the Pre-Collision Braking System operation, a message appears and stays in the
warning screen area of the combination meter display for a certain period of time.
If Pre-Collision Braking System stopped operating before the vehicle came to a
stop
A message appears and stays in the warning
screen area of the combination meter display
to indicate that Pre-Collision Braking System
has activated. This screen will be displayed
for 10 seconds.
If Pre-Collision Braking System continued operating until the vehicle came to a
stop
The screen displays the message “Apply
Brake To Hold Position” to urge the driver to
depress the brake pedal. At this time the alert
(beep) sounds. This screen will be displayed
for approximately 2 minutes until the driver
depresses the brake pedal.
If the brake pedal is depressed or 2 minutes
have elapsed, a message changes and stays
in the warning screen area of the combination
meter display to indicate that Pre-Collision
Braking System has activated. This screen
will be displayed for 10 seconds.
