Important guidelines for installing your Baby Monitor
To use your Video Monitor Baby and Parent Units together, you must be able to
establish a radio link between them, and the range will be affected by environmental
conditions.
Any large metal object, like a refrigerator, a mirror, a filing cabinet, metallic doors or
reinforced concrete between the Baby and Parent Unit may block the radio signal.
The signal strength may also be reduced by other solid structures, like walls, or by
radio or electrical equipment, such as TVs, computers, cordless or mobile phones,
fluorescent lights or dimmer switches.
Use of other 2.4 GHz products, such as wireless networks (Wi-Fi
®
routers),
Bluetooth™ systems, or microwave ovens, may cause interference with this
product, so keep the Baby Monitor away at least 3 feet(1 metre) from these types of
products, or turn them off if they appear to be causing interference
If the signal is weak, try moving the Parent and/or the Baby Unit to different positions
in the room(s).

Motorola MBP855CONNECT-2 Questions and Answers

#1 Is there any protection from people hacking into your camera?

Our Hubble cameras allow remote-access to the camera(s) with a user-generated username and password only. There is no standard login username and password allowed with our cameras and they will not work on an open network without a WSK security key. You have to be on an encrypted network for the camera to work and you must have a password on your router. We do not allow a camera connection to open networks. In order for a third person to set up a remote-access account, this person would have to have the SSID of the camera which means she would need physical access to the camera to create an account and view the camera.

#2 Is it possible to turn the camera on and off from your phone? Or does the camera have to stay on in order to view from the phone?

Yes, you can just turn ON/OFF the switch under the camera in the Hubble app. However, keep in mind that to view the camera it does need to be on.

#3 If I use this product with 2 cameras without split screen, will the monitor auto scroll between the 2 cameras like the summer infant one does?

Yes, you can can the cameras. The screen will then display images from different registered cameras in a loop, changing about every 12 seconds.
