Installation Instructions
This guide includes instructions for installing the Bose ShowMatch SMS118
Speaker Pole Mount Adaptor M20 Thread for use with the Bose ShowMatch
SMS118 subwoofer. To ensure safe product installation, it is the installer’s
responsibility to refer to all relevant documentation for this product and all
other installation components before installing the product.
Before installing the adaptor, please read this installation guide and the AMM112 product
guide. To access additional Bose documentation, scan the QR code on this page or visit
pro.Bose.com/sms118adaptor.
If you are using additional components or hardware in your installation, please review all
relevant documentation for those products.
Note: The adaptor is not designed for permanent outdoor use.
1. Remove the four M6 screws from the pole cup on the subwoofer. Save the screws.
2. Remove the pole cup and its gasket.
3. Insert the pole mount adaptor into the new (included) gasket.
4. Insert the pole mount adaptor and gasket into the hole on the subwoofer, and align
the screw holes.
5. Attach the pole mount adaptor to the subwoofer using the four original M6 screws.

1. Retire los 4 tornillos M6 de la montura para poste del subwoofer. Guarde los tornillos.
2. Retire la montura para poste y su junta.
3. Inserte el adaptador de montaje en poste en la nueva junta (incluida).
4. Inserte el adaptador de montaje en poste y la junta en el orificio del subwoofer
y alinéelos con los orificios para tornillos.
5. Fije el adaptador de montaje en poste en el subwoofer con los 4 tornillos M6 originales.

1. Retirez les quatre vis M6 du trépied sur le caisson de basses. Conservez les vis.
2. Retirez le trépied et son joint.
3. Insérez l’adaptateur du socle à mat dans le nouveau joint (inclus).
4. Insérez l’adaptateur du socle à mat et le joint dans l’orifice du caisson de basses,
puis alignez les trous des vis.
5. Fixez l’adaptateur du socle à mat au caisson de basses à l’aide des quatre vis M6 initiales.

1. Entfernen Sie die vier M6-Schrauben vom Stativstangen-Einsatz am Subwoofer.
Heben Sie die Schrauben auf.
2. Entfernen Sie den Stativstangen-Einsatz mitsamt der Dichtung.
3. Setzen Sie den neuen Adapterflansch und die (mitgelieferte) Dichtung ein.
4. Setzen Sie den Adapterflansch und die Dichtung in das Loch am Subwoofer ein und
richten Sie die Löcher für die Schrauben an den Bohrungen aus.
5. Bringen Sie den Adapterflansch am Subwoofer mithilfe der vier Original-M6-Schrauben an.

1. Verwijder de vier M6-schroeven uit de uitsparing op de subwoofer. Bewaar de schroeven.
