DOWNLOAD MAP UPDATE DATA TO A
SMARTPHONE
1.
Connect a smartphone to the system via Bluetooth.
● When using an iPhone, it can also be connected
using a USB cable.
2.
Start the SUBARU STARLINK application on the
smartphone.
3.
Select (Map Update) on the navigation
settings screen. (→P.201)
4.
Select (Select Region
(Max up to 8)).
● If (Select Region (Max
up to 8)) cannot be selected, perform this procedure
again from “STEP 1”.
5.
Select the regions for which maps are to be updated.
6.
Select (Back) or .
7.
Change the mobile data communication setting of the
SUBARU STARLINK application on the smartphone to
on.
8.
Select (Check for Updates) on the
map update screen.
9.
Select
Cancel
(Cancel).
10.
Connect the smartphone to a Wi-Fi network.
11.
Using the SUBARU STARLINK application on the
smartphone, download the map update data.
