4 Press or to select the channel you want
to add to the favorites list, then press ENTER. If a
channel has a check mark, it is in the favorites
list.
5 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or
press EXIT to close the menu.
To tune to a favorite channel:
1 Press FAV to open the favorite channel list.
2 Press or to highlight a channel. If the list
has more than one page, or to go to the
previous or next page.
3 Press FAV to close the list and tune to the
selected channel.
Labeling a channel
You can assign labels to channels to make them
easier to identify. A channel label can consist of up
to 11 characters. You can use letters, numbers, and
the underscore symbol (_).
To label a channel:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to highlight CHANNEL, then
press ENTER. The Channel menu opens.
3 Press or to highlight Channel Labels, then
press ENTER.
4 Press or to highlight the channel you want
to label, then press ENTER or . The on-screen
keyboard opens.
5 Press or to highlight a character, then
press ENTER. The characters you enter appear
on the display bar above the keyboard.
• To toggle between upper and lower case,
highlight Caps Lock, then press ENTER.
• To delete a character, highlight the backspace
symbol ( ), then press ENTER.
6 When the label is correct, highlight Enter, then
press ENTER.
7 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or
press EXIT to close the menu.
Viewing the digital TV signal strength
To view the digital TV signal strength:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to highlight CHANNEL, then
press ENTER. The Channel menu opens.
3 Press or to highlight Channel Strength,
then press ENTER. The Channel Strength screen
opens and displays the signal strength. If
necessary, adjust the antenna to improve the
signal strength.
4 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or
press EXIT to close the menu.
