DETERGENT AND FABRIC SOFTENER
Where do I put my detergent?
Liquid detergent
Add to the front left compartment labelled ‘MAIN WASH
Liquid’ (A). As the machine fills, water is flushed into this
compartment and is mixed with the detergent. The detergent
solution is then delivered into the drum. There may be a small
volume of water left in the liquid detergent dispenser at the
end of the cycle. This is normal.
Ensure that the liquid detergent is filled no higher than the
‘MAX’ level indicated at the back of the compartment.
Powdered Detergent
Add to the back left compartment labelled ‘MAIN WASH
Powder’ (B). As the machine fills, water sprays into this
compartment and flushes the powder out.
Ensure that the level of detergent is not higher than the
compartment edge below the word ‘Powder’. Too much
detergentcould result in water and detergent on the floor.
Pre-Wash
If you wish to use the ‘Pre Wash’ option, liquid or powdered
detergent, or stain treatment products can be used. Place in the
back right compartment labelled ‘PRE WASH Liquid/Powder’
(C). When you select ‘Pre Wash’, the pre wash compartment is
flushed at the start of the cycle. Formore information refer to
‘Wash cycle options’.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure that the dispenser drawer is completely closed before starting the cycle.
Donot open it again until the cycle is complete and the machine has stopped spinning.
Pods
Detergent pods are a ‘no mess’ alternative to powdered or liquid detergent. They must
be placed at the back of the drum prior to loading your clothes. This will ensure they are
activated quickly in the wash. Do not place pods in the dispenser drawer or on top of
your clothes.
