OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG REPAIR KIT INSTRUCTIONS
M12x1.75
Common Applications: Ford, GM, and Mazda.
Note: There are other applications for different makes and models. If unsure of drain plug size
consult your local dealer. If a previous repair has been made, this kit may not work. Check for
installed inserts before use.
Important: Grease on the drill and tap will help pre-
vent chips from falling into the drain pan while work
is performed. Using a low RPM drill or drilling by hand
will also reduce the risk chips falling into the pan. Also
pouring old oil through the drain pan when job is com-
plete can help to remove any small chips. Note: Any
time there is drilling, counter boring, or tapping it is
recommended to use cutting oil.
Step 1: Using included drill remove damaged threads of

hole.
Step 2: Use the included counter bore to remove material.
