diesel or other approved fuel
Diesel fuel level low
Trigger on spray gun not pulled
Squeeze trigger to re burner
Clean and/or tighten fuel
lter (Check fuel pressure)
Fuel lter plugged
Spray nozzle plugged Clean spray nozzle
Reset overload, locate and
correct source of overload
Overload on burner motor
tripped
Nozzle not in wand Install nozzle in wand
See pumping system
troubleshooting
Low water pump pressure
Replace burner relayBurner relay faulty (12 volt
burner only)
Check fuel pressure, lter,
fuel lines. Replace fuel
pump and/or nozzle
Fuel pump or nozzle stopped
Burner will not re
Warning: High voltage
on igniter can cause
electrical shock.
Disconnect power before
servicing.
Check electrical continuity
with pump spraying and
burner ON
Vacuum, ow, pressure or
temperature switch faulty
Replace fuel valve if it does
not open when power is
applied
Fuel solenoid valve faulty
Adjust generator RPM for
proper voltage under full
load conditions
Low generator voltage output
Set air band and fuel
pressure to specications
Fuel to air ratio out of
adjustment
Replace nozzle with one
of proper size
Fuel nozzle partially clogged
Replace ignition transformer,
clean and adjust electrodes
Ignition transformer not
providing spark to fuel
Burner will not re, plus
diesel fumes are emitted
from the exhaust port
Warning: Replace
insulation. Unburned fuel
can saturate it and cause
a re.
Set air band and fuel
pressure to specications
Fuel to air ratio out of
adjustment
Clean soot to improve air
ow
Excessive soot on the coils
Adjust RPM of generator (if
equipped)
Improper voltage at burner
Burner res and smokes
