Required tools (not included):

10 mm open-end wrench or
adjustable wrench
◾
4 mm hex key
1. Remove the battery pack(s).
2. Remove the shear pin and nut.
3. Reassemble the new shear pin and nut.
Securely tighten them.
NOTICE: Two pare shear pins & nuts
are stored on the snow-discharge chute
assembly (Fig. 17b). Replace with the new one if the original one is broken.
EGO DRIFT CUTTER MODEL

When the snow height is higher than the
deck, the drift cutters could scrape the
snow down beneath the deck to help
removing snow.
1. Remove the battery pack(s).
2. Insert the two bolts into the deck and
mount the drift cutter and wing nuts
onto the bolts. Pre-tighten the wing
nuts and keep the drift cutter a little
loose for adjustment (Fig. 18a).
3. Move the drift cutters to the desired
position (Fig. 18b).
4. Tighten the wing nuts to secure the
drift cutters.
