The dirt container should to be emptied before the dirt reaches the “Full” line on the container.
1. Unplug the vacuum
from electrical outlet
2. Lift the Dirt Tank from
the vacuum cleaner
body by lifting the Dirt
Tank Release upwards
and pulling the Dirt
Tank towards you
3. The dirt release catch
is located at the back
of the Dirt Tank. Hold
the dirt tank over a
dust bin and press the
release catch from
the top downwards to
release the bottom lid
4. Shake the Dirt Tank
or gently tap it on the
side to ensure all dirt
and dust is released
into the dust bin
5. Close the bottom lid
and return the Dirt
Tank to the Vacuum
cleaner by inserting
the bottom part first
and then gently clip
the top back in place
1. Unplug the vacuum
from electrical outlet
2. The pre-motor filter
protects the motor
from dirt particles.
It is located in the
top of the Dirt Tank.
Remove the Dirt Tank
as explained in the
previous section. Lift
the front clip (located
underneath the Dirt
Tank Release) to
remove the foam filter
and clean it
3. The post-motor HEPA
filter assists in the
filtration process to
return clean air to the
room. It is located
in the main body of
the vacuum cleaner
underneath the Dirt
Tank. With the Dirt
Tank removed, turn
the dial clockwise
and lift up. Remove
the HEPA filter by
grasping the tab and
pulling upwards. To
clean the HEPA filter
gently tap it on a hard
surface or the side of
the dust bin. DO NOT
WET THE HEPA FILTER
EMPTY DIRT CONTAINER
CLEANING THE PRE-MOTOR
AND POST-MOTOR HEPA FILTER
Emptying the dirt container after every use will help prevent over-filling
and ensure that the vacuum is ready to go the next time you clean.
The pre-motor filter may be hand washed in cold water.
Rinse well and air dry thoroughly before replacing.
The post-motor filter is a white, pleated HEPA filter. THIS FILTER IS NOT
WASHABLE and must be replaced when it becomes dirty.
